Bridge

The club meets every Tuesday. We are fortunate in that we have an outside coach who comes in and teaches the boys the finer details of the ACOL system. Quite a few boys join the club as beginners when they enter the school and end up becoming very proficient players. It is also offered as one of the options for the Forth Form (Year 9) and these boys often end up becoming permanent members of the club. The school is part of the Schools' Bridge Lecture and we have been lucky enough to have reasonably regular fixtures with other schools in the area.

Bridge offers something very different from the normal school day. It clearly improves memory and strategy skills but has also proven to be a great social time as well.
