Year 8 Curriculum

Seige Weapons 

A cross-curricular project has been undertaken this term. Inspired by Mr Husbands (Head Of Classics) and developed in close co-operation with the Design and Technology department. Pupils worked in pairs to research, analyse and then design and manufacture replica Siege Weapons. The project has been very successful and the pupils loved all aspects of the work, especially the final testing day. Ben Rosen and Jeremy Samuels won the overall prize. There were also prizes for 'Most Authentic Model' and 'Best Manufactured Model'
