Bursaries, sport, the Arts, additional help for boys – providing the extra edge takes a bit more effort. Fees are fundamental, but they are only a start. In 1561, generous gifts created the School and for four centuries giving has played a central role in the School’s success. Every boy here benefits from the generosity of those who came before. Over 150 parents and Old Merchant Taylors have already given to the Annual Fund in 2008-2009. Gifts go straight to work in the current year to support pupils. They make a difference in the here and now. Gifts create extra opportunities for boys. The goal for this year’s Annual Fund is £50,000. Using the attached Gift Aid Form, you can direct your donation to Bursaries, the Arts, Sport, or to be used at the Head Master’s Discretion. Every gift, large and small, has an impact.
