Music WeekMusic Week at Merchant Taylors' is open to everyone. Many boys love to participate, some boys prefer to listen. But during this week, Music extends beyond the boys (and their teachers) and parents and friends of the school all join in.There will be concerts by everyone, for everyone and almost certainly to suit every musical taste. Most events will be free and will take place during the course of the school day, be it outside the Lun during the Quarter, in the Dining Hall at lunch time or in the open air (weather permitting) during the evening. The climax of Music Week is the Summer Serenade which takes place in the Inner Quad (or in the Great Hall, if it's raining). The Summer Serenade is on the last day of Music Week and has items ranging from novelty songs to classical masterpieces.
