Beaconsfield Coach Service: May-October 2008

Owing to structural viaduct repairs on the A40 close to Swakeleys roundabout, the Beaconsfield coach has been severely delayed in the past few days resulting in the boys arriving late to School.
In order to avoid boys arriving late, it will be necessary to bring the pick up times forward by 10 minutes at each stop with effect from, Monday, 19th May. These viaduct repairs  are scheduled to last until 30th October 2008. This new timetable, therefore, will remain in force until the end of term.
We very much regret any inconvenience this may cause you and your family.

Avian Influenza

Despite the absence of recent press coverage, the School continues to monitor the situation and will follow the advice of the appropriate national and local governmental bodies as and when it is issued.  The School grounds are checked regularly and any appearance of dead birds will be reported to the appropriate authority. In formulating a policy to cope with the predicted outbreak of avian influenza and its possible transmission to the human population, the School will have as its priorities:

  • The health and safety of our pupils and staff
  • The continued education of our pupils
