The MTS Charity Drive

Introduction

The Head Master takes a soaking in a good cause!
The Head does his bit for the school's charities

Merchant Taylors' has a committee of boys, most in Year 11 and 12, which organises and oversees the majority of charitable events in the school. The committee meets weekly, decides where to donate money, and plans, publicises and coordinates events such as ‘Mufti’ Day (non-uniform day), charitable runs, concerts, Readathons and more.

Some of the more prominent activities are the Aid for Tibet. There are also a variety of boys' teams - like PHAB and the Asian cultural society - that extend our charitable endeavours.

Readathon Readathon takes place in the October Half-Term

Every year MTS years 7,8 and 9 take part in a sponsored reading marathon over the October Half Term.

Special congratulations to Tejas Panchal and Tawfiq Hamid who between them raised £500 for charity - an incredible effort!

The boys really appreciate the Head's sporting attitude to Charities Day

Life doesn't get much better than this!
