Islamic Society

The Islamic society aims to:
  • Provide an opportunity for Muslims to meet on an informal basis.  To provide support and advice to one another in a constructive way
  • Make use of the prayer room regularly.
  • Raise awareness of Islam within school through Assemblies and activities.  To involve all pupils so everyone benefits.
  • Launch the idea of Islamic quizzes to develop our knowledge and understanding – with Prizes !!!!!! 
  • Organise a trip to a Nasheed show.

The Muslim boys are fortunate to have a prayer room in school; this will be of great value in the month of Ramadan.  They will be able pray, rest and make zikr- which is the remembrance of Allah.

This year at the start of Ramadan, seven of our members presented a super assembly to inform pupils and staff about the relevance of this month, Boys are also always eager to present assemblies on Eid.
