Concordia Winter 2018 25 Concordia Winter 2018 24 Forthcoming Events Development Development Career Inspirations Friday 15th February 2019, 08.15 – 11.00, Merchant Taylors’ School Whether you are a recent graduate or establishing your career, you are warmly invited back to school to talk to current pupils about your experiences so far which have been particularly valuable to you, as well as sage words of advice. The Career Inspirations event is the first opportunity that our Fourths boys are offered at school on their way to choosing their own career path. The event takes place shortly before the boys make their GCSE choices and we know that conversations with our OMTs can help to get them thinking about their futures. The morning takes the form of short, informal group “speed dating”. No preparation is needed, just a willingness to talk and enthuse! Previous year groups have found the experience to be invaluable, particularly in discussions with parents and tutors about GCSE choices! We hope to have a broad representation of careers from our alumni community. If you would like to volunteer or have any questions please do get in touch: ebindloss@mtsn.org.uk For more information about any of these events, or to book tickets, please visit our website: https://development.mtsn.org.uk Merchant Taylors’ and St Helen’s City Network Thursday 14th March 2019, 18.00 – 21.00, Ernst & Young, 1 More London Riverside, London, SE1 2AF The next in our series of City Network events for all OMTs, Old Girls and parents working in the city to meet up over drinks and canapés.
