Concordia

W e feature some fascinating stories in this edition of Concordia. Shami Radia and Neil Whippey talk of their plan to normalise the eating of grubs in the West. Ammar Ebrahim recounts his journey to becoming a journalist, winning the BBC Rising Star 2019 award in the process. Mustafaen Kamal outlines his ambitious plans for the Dil Internship Project, transforming the way Pakistani companies recruit graduates from around the world. We also feature an excerpt from a speech by Professor Alan Sommerstein, Emeritus Professor of Greek at the University of Nottingham. Professor Sommerstein returned to MTS in the Spring to talk about the high number of OMTs who have figured in the ranks of eminent Classicists, ever since the school’s founding in 1561. You may notice that the Archive section has evolved, largely thanks to the work of our Archivist, Sally Gilbert. We are also indebted to the growing numbers of alumni who have kindly sent in photos from their school days. Please do feel free to e-mail any images you may have to add to our digital collection - the address is archive@mtsn.org.uk.
