Concordia Winter 2019 31 Class Notes Concordia Winter 2019 30 Oliver Fishman (1991-1996) can currently be seen with the stars of Barcelona for a new Beko Czech Republic TV ad onYouTube. After more than three years working in Bristol as a journalist for ITV News West Country, I will be moving back home to London to work with ITV National News. We've just launched a brand new youth news service targeted at teenagers between the ages of 14 and 17, but actually it is being watched by many more. It is called The Rundown and is a daily news bulletin that is uploaded on Instagram, Snapchat and Facebook. It focuses on producing comprehensible, impartial and easy-to-consume news, from Brexit to boxing, and current affairs to viral videos. The Rundown aims to keep teens up-to- date with the stories that are making the headlines. It is somewhat uncharted territory for ITV News and I am very excited to be a part of this new project – making the most of social media and our attachment to our phones. I will be presenting and producing on The Rundown and can't wait to get started in the National newsroom, being right in the middle of the biggest news stories. Rishi Davda (2008-2013) Dr Gavin Paul Raphael Manmathan (1993-1998), currently working as a cardiologist at the Royal Free Hospital in London, is taking a PhD in AIDS and HIV at University College London. In 2020 St John’s are celebrating their Centenary and would love to invite Old Boys to one or all of their special celebrations. On Thursday 26th March, there will be a black-tie Centenary Dinner for Old Boys at Merchant Taylors’ Hall, and on Sunday 28th June the school would be delighted to welcome you to St John’s for a special Centenary Reunion for Old Boys.
