30 ROUNDS

Army: Army section will be travelling to Crowborough training area, for what promises to be an exciting and demanding day of military skills, first aid, and the chance to meet some regulars and compare their frontline equipment to our cadet issue items. Make sure to follow the kit list, but remember your knowledge and skills are vital equipment too. We’ll be looking out for potential leaders too, especially amongst years 11 and 10. RAF: This field day the RAF will be focusing on how to work in the field. They will be participating in a variety of activities including a surveillance and reconnaissance stand, a field phones stand and activities provided by Sgt Scholls, RAF Northolt personnel, including a VR stand. In the afternoon they will put what they learnt in the morning into practise by doing a whole-section exercise on observation and communications where one team will observe a scenario, feeding back information to the other group via the field phone. The day will conclude with a drill competition, judged by the CWO and FSgt Kwok. Navy: Navy section will be splitting into groups and heading off around the country. Year 12 and 13 will be working towards their RYA powerboating qualifications. Year 11 will be visiting HMS Collingwood, the Navy's largest training base and the headquarters of the Maritime Warfare School. Year 10 will be embarking on a multi activity trip based in Portsmouth.
