St Barnabas Day

Celebrating the boys’ achievements

Last Saturday Merchant Taylors’ came together to celebrate the school’s annual Speech Day - The Feast of St Barnabas. This is a wonderful tradition, the origins of which go back to 1567, which recognises and celebrates the academic achievements of the boys. It was also a moment to reflect on the many successes we have enjoyed at MTS over the past 12 months. These have included academic, sporting, musical, theatrical and charitable highlights, which have seen the boys, excel in so many different domains.
