Congratulations to Peter B. (L6th) who has taken up a place in the prestigious National Youth Music Theatre’s 2026 Company. NYMT is an arts organisation now in its 50th year providing pre-professional education and musical theatre stage experience for young performers.
Nearly 1,300 young actors applied this year. Peter attended a first round of auditions and a casting workshop. He was then selected to become a cast member for the new musical workshop called The Unstoppable Letty Pegg by Helen Arney and James Hughes taking place in Summer 2026.
Peter has taken part in many Joint Musical School productions over his time at Taylors’ including West Side Story, Amélie and The Addams Family. He is currently looking forward to his final school musical, which will be at School in November. Peter also won Best Director (Spenser House) in the House Drama Competition last term.
