Writes Hrim D. (5ths)
The Sanatana Dharma Society recently came together to celebrate Janmashtami, marking the birth of Lord Krishna. While our celebrations took place a few weeks later than the traditional date, the delay did nothing to dampen the high spirits, devotion and energy of everyone involved.
Hosted in the wonderful setting of Dr Birtles’ room, the event brought students together for a memorable afternoon of reflection and community. The highlight of the celebration was a beautiful collective Arti dedicated to honouring the life, wisdom and timeless teachings of Lord Krishna.
The event served as a fantastic reminder of the strength of our community and the joy of sharing our cultural traditions. A sincere thank you goes out to Dr Birtles who helped organize the event and to all who attended and contributed to such a warm, uplifting atmosphere.
