Each department uses technology in its own way – there is no single approach that works for all. What unites us is the Microsoft 365 suite. Tools such as Teams, Outlook, OneDrive and OneNote, alongside the digital stylus, are central to our practice. Most pupils will continue to take notes by hand, with keyboards used only occasionally in lessons.
A tablet is far more than digital paper. It enables resources to be shared quickly and sustainably, supports interactive learning, and links classwork and homework seamlessly. Pupils can collaborate from anywhere, create work in a variety of formats, and receive instant feedback. With Cloud storage, they stay organised, carry less, and rely less on physical textbooks.
Technology is central to our approach, but it will never replace the influence of an inspiring teacher. What it can do is equip those teachers with powerful tools to personalise learning and to help every pupil achieve their very best.
