Tough Away Loss for U18s After Promising Start

For those who’ve been following the U18 Basketball Team’s journey over the past few weeks, Wednesday’s fixture against brought a challenging turn. The team arrived with confidence after two strong home wins - but despite a positive opening quarter, Harrow’s strength on their home court proved decisive.

With a two-game winning streak, we travelled to Harrow School on 25th November 2025 full of confidence. However, playing away at Harrow is always a tough fixture, and this proved to be a game in which we were outplayed by our opponents.

Despite a bright start, taking a narrow 18–16 lead after the first quarter, we were dominated for much of the remainder of the game. We continued to work hard and create opportunities, but our field-goal percentage was relatively low, and we struggled to convert our shots. The game finished 51–87.

Ben P. (U6th), Andrew E. (U6th) and Zakariya K. (U6th) scored 14, 13 and 10 points respectively. Samuel W. (U6th) also opened his scoring account, contributing 4 points.

Our next fixture is an away game at Aldenham School on 4th December 2025. It is a must-win match if we are to make the play-offs this season.
