A Science Week Whodunnit!

Crime Scene Investigation in Biology – Mrs Stuteley’s lab became the scene of a thrilling murder mystery! As part of Science Week, we took on the role of forensic scientists, using real investigative techniques to solve a crime.

Writes Dhruv K (4ths)

We examined footprints and fingerprints, analysed mysterious fibres and hairs under microscopes, and even tested unknown liquids for poison. With chromatography kits, blood sample tests, and other forensic tools, we pieced together the evidence and uncovered the culprit!

It was an exciting, hands-on experience that gave us a glimpse into the real-world work of forensic science. Who knows? Some of us might use these skills in future careers! Hopefully, we’ll get another mystery to solve soon—minus the actual crime, of course!

Thanks to Mrs Stuteley for helping us solve this conundrum!
