Interwoven: Young Enterprise Team Making a Difference

Writes Minoo Thobhani, Work Experience Co-Ordinator

Young Enterprise team, Interwoven, have launched a brilliant social enterprise selling funky, colourful socks to raise money for mental health charities supporting young people. All profits will be donated, with a portion reinvested into mental health awareness campaigns within our school community.

The team recently presented in assemblies for Manor and Mulcaster House, where they spoke about the importance of checking in on one another and shared information about support resources available to students. Their message was a powerful reminder that help is always within reach.

Blake B, Managing Director says: ”Our goal isn’t just to sell funky socks, it’s to construct a community of young people brimming with confidence, pride and, most importantly, the courage to talk about mental health. By uniting creativity and compassion, we’re helping young people just like us, recognise mental health struggles and feel empowered to support one another. Ultimately creating an environment where no one suffers in silence.”

Do follow their journey on Instagram @interwoven_ and TikTok @interwoven95. Every sock makes a difference!
