Writes Alfie Collins, Teacher of Physics and Kian C. (L6th)
Kian C. (L6th) performed in a ‘Sunday Sounds’ recital, showcasing emerging musicians at the Burgh House on Sunday 10th May. He played the violin in two pieces: Edward Elgar’s Romance No. 1 and Ernest Bloch’s ‘Nigun’ from Baal Shem.
“Playing at the Sunday Sounds recital at Burgh House was a great experience and something I’m really proud to have been part of. I enjoyed playing both Elgar’s Romance No. 1 and Bloch’s Nigun in front of a live audience. Although it was nerve-racking at times, these experiences help build my confidence as a performer and I look forward to the next opportunity.”
