The long-awaited House Table Tennis Finals took place on a tense Friday afternoon, with the atmosphere buzzing from the very first serve. Having seen big names such as Andrewes and Spenser bow out in the opening round, the competition was wide open, paving the way for new stars to make their mark.

The third-place play-off set the tone, as Raphael and Walter fought tooth and nail in a gripping match that kept the crowd on edge. Both players produced flashes of brilliance, but it was Raphael who edged ahead to claim a well-earned podium finish.

The spotlight then turned to the grand final: White versus Hilles. With ruthless top-end players like Mateo R. and Viraaj B. on show, the rallies came thick and fast, each one greeted with cheers from the growing crowd. The contest built to a dramatic final as Ammar L. of White, faced Ali N. of Hilles in the deciding match. What followed was a truly thrilling spectacle of skill, power, and nerve. Ali pushed Ammar all the way in a brilliant display of attacking play and composure under pressure, but it was Ammar who held his nerve at the crucial moment to seal the victory.

White House were crowned champions once again, raising the cup after a final that will be remembered for its intensity and quality. Hilles, however, earned huge respect for their spirited challenge, making this year’s tournament one of the most competitive yet.
