The French Spelling Bee Final, held on Friday 12 June in ML66, showcased an outstanding level of talent, commitment and enthusiasm from all participants. The atmosphere was charged with excitement as the finalists—Gabriel T., Aamir K., Elias P., Gwilym H., Kyle K., Pirajen G., Pravinesh N. and Xavi K.—took to the stage, each determined to demonstrate the progress they had made throughout the competition.

This year, the boys truly took the competition to another level, showing not only excellent recall of vocabulary but also impressive accuracy in spelling and pronunciation under pressure, clearly aiming to beat previous records. Their focus, resilience and growing linguistic confidence were evident in every round, reflecting hours of dedicated practice and a genuine passion for language learning.

As the competition intensified, two contestants ultimately stood out: Gabriel T., who delivered a remarkable performance by correctly spelling 19 words within the 90-second time limit, and Pirajen G., who followed closely behind with an excellent score of 18 words. Their achievement represents an exceptional level of performance and determination.

Overall, the event was a striking demonstration of linguistic ambition and academic excellence at such a young age, highlighting the strength of language learning at MTS. Well done to all participants for their hard work, courage and outstanding performances.
