Our U14 Tennis team, comprising of Ayngaran M. (4ths), Marc P. (4ths), Yusuf M. (U3rds) and Aydin B. (U3rds), secured a 4-2 win against Emmanuel School last week. With several impressive individual highlights, alongside excellent teamwork, both doubles matches were won comfortably, with scores of 6-1 and 6-2.

With this result, the boys have qualified for the second round of the School Sport Magazine competition. Well done to the team on their success.

Following on to just this week, our U14s and U16s have been back in action on the courts. The U14s securing yet another victory against Mill Hill School with some serious standouts. Moving to the doubles, Yusuf and Aydin claimed a convincing 6-1 win, whilst Ayngaran and Marc showcased impressive control and composure to win 7-5 in a tightly contested match.

Over on the U16 courts, the boys were competing in the second round of the School Sport Magazine Competition. Consisting of Enkai S. (Divs), Rian V. (4ths), Jonah R. (Divs) and Darsh S. (Divs) the match took place against Claremont Fan Court School.

With Darsh stepping in at short notice to replace Jai H, who was injured, all eyes were on him. Darsh played spectacularly to win 6-1 which was also the result of Rian on the neighbouring court.

The overall match was very tight, finishing 3-3. However, this then prompted a countback on games, which narrowly favoured Claremont by 23-22, an incredibly close result.
