Since our founding in 1561, Merchant Taylors’ has placed a high value on education outside of classroom, and especially on the sports field. That legacy continues today with our inclusive and supportive approach that encourages a life-long enjoyment of sports and exercise.
Each term, our Sports department focus on a core sport. With a dedicated director of Rugby, Hockey and Cricket working alongside a pool of multi-disciplinary teachers we have the capacity to field teams that compete at the highest levels across their age groups while giving students of all abilities the chance to develop their skills, compete against other schools and deepen their friendships through the excitement of team sport.
