Writes Sally Hale, Head of Hilles House
Hilles House proudly hosted its inaugural Lower School Has Got Talent last week, an exciting celebration of the creativity and confidence of our youngest pupils. The event showcased a remarkable range of abilities, from musical performances to magic and even feats of physical strength. Nine talented pupils earned their place in the live semi-finals, each impressing the audience with their unique skills.
Our Hilles Lower School House Captains, Lishane W. (4ths) and Devan P. (U3rds), compered the event brilliantly, bringing energy, humour and a warm sense of House spirit throughout.
The competition reached a thrilling conclusion with Chase L. (U3rds) taking the overall win, astonishing everyone by solving three Rubik’s cubes in just over one minute.
The runners up also shone brightly: Henry I. (3rds) delivered a heartfelt a cappella performance, Alex B-T. (4ths) impressed with expressive trombone playing, and Aarav K. (4ths) amazed the audience with a magical single card that appeared to reveal new dots every time it was flipped. It was a joyful, memorable first edition of a show that will surely become a much-loved annual Hilles tradition.
