A Multilingual Exploration of All Saints’ Day in Panglossia

Last Thursday, Viraaj V. (Divs) gave an informative and deeply researched talk in Panglossia. This professional level lecture was about how All Saint’s Day is celebrated in Spain and France, exploring the cultural differences that lead to the different celebratory traditions.

Although the information gathered was enough impress all listeners, what truly made the session unique was the script. Split between Spanish and French, Viraaj would talk about the festivals in the language native to their culture. He seamlessly transitioned between Spanish, French and English throughout the talk and questions.

Viraaj truly represented the innovation and ingenuity fostered at our school. Well done Viraaj.
