Chemistry & Physics Olympiad Success

MTS Scientists strike Gold in national competitions.

The Physics department are delighted to announce the greatest ever success in the British Physics Olympiad Round 1. The British Physics Olympiad is the highest level national competition for school level Physics and seeks to stretch and challenge participants beyond the confines of the taught courses. This year over 2,100 students participated across the UK. Those being awarded a Top Gold are in the top 100 nationally and those awarded a Gold in the top 130. This success is due to a tremendous sustained effort from the boys and they are to be congratulated for this significant achievement. We congratulate the boys listed below for their incredible achievement who will now be going through to Round 2 at the end of January -a precursor to the International Competition.

REHAN SHEIKH    Top Gold
