MTS pupils benefit from a vast range of activities.
Education is what remains, long after the lessons have been forgotten, and crucial to a Taylors' education is the range of activities that we offer boys. These are some of the most memorable, enjoyable and character-forming aspects of any education. Boys can choose from a huge range of over seventy activities. Whether it's astronomy or war-gaming, there's plenty to do and we are lucky that, because of our superb campus and facilities, most activities can take place at MTS. Our aim is to offer the sort of exciting challenges that will help boys develop self-confidence, self-belief and a quiet pride in their achievements. They can take risks and experience victory and defeat in a safe environment, whilst also having plenty of fun.
In the Fourth Form, boys choose a Friday afternoon activity from the vast range offered to them There is also the chance to find out what is going at other times of the week at the Activities Fair, which takes place at the start of every Autumn Term. From the age of 14, they graduate to a more challenging activity: a wing of the Combined Cadet Force; the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme; or Community Service.
