Senior Geography Society

To open up the new year of Senior Geography Society, OMT Rishi Thapar came in to give an inspiring talk to Sixth Form pupils about his life at university.

Rishi currently is in his second year at LSE studying Geography and Economic History. During his talk he spoke about the actions he had taken to get into university and the modules which he had chosen. For our boys this was key information, as he really gave an insight into what is important when deciding what course and what university to attend. He also opened up about the world of societies at university and delved into his social life just to give our boys a clue into what a social life is like at LSE. This led the boys to ask Rishi many questions about the opportunities available at university and really helped the boys understand what is different about a London university.

Aside from this, Rishi was also a geography student at MTS and spoke about key tips in handling coursework and balancing this with his other subjects. Lastly, Rishi gave a great insight into his personal statement and how it made him stand out.

We are really grateful towards Rishi and thanks to all who attended.
