Chemists Secure Gold in prestigious event
Congratulations to our senior scientists who have performed outstandingly well in the Chemistry Olympiad. Sixth Formers won five Gold and seven Silver Awards in what is a prestigious national competition and they thus maintain a fine MTS tradition in this exacting discipline. Summative assessment offers one way of proving competence but the nature of Science Olympiads, which involves preparation over several weeks, provides a valuable additional mechanism to stretch our most inquisitive minds.
