Student Wins Place in National Youth Theatre

Many congratulations to David A. in the Lower Sixth who has won a place in the prestigious National Youth Theatre. David has been heavily involved in Drama during his time in Middle and Upper School.
On the Drama Curriculum, David achieved a Grade 9 at GCSE which included a marvellous performance of Stoppard’s Rosencrantz and Guildenstern. In Co-Curricular Drama, David’s most recent success was playing the role of Big Deal in West Side Story, pictured. He also played a mean electric guitar and rendered a fabulous ventriloquist act in the Joint Play, Enron.
This term, David is developing his leadership skills running a Drama Club in The Hour for Lower and Middle School students. David is a real team player and we wish him every success with the summer season. His achievement follows five successive years of MTS Drama pupils gaining places in the National Youth Theatre.
