Oxford and Cambridge Interview Success

Ten Upper Sixth students and one OMT have performed excellently at interview and have secured places at Oxford or Cambridge (conditional on A Level grades), commencing October 2024.

The successful pupils are reading the following subjects:

Oxford

  • T. Patel (St Hughs – History)
  • T. Skelton (Balliol - History)
  • RS. Shah (Queen’s – History)
  • G. Denne (Pembroke – English Literature and Language)
  • A. Paramor (Oriel – Theology and Religion)
  • F. Siddiqui (Wadham – Chemistry)

Cambridge

  • J. Hawkes (Jesus – Modern and Medieval Languages)
  • K. Thayaparan (Jesus – Natural Sciences)
  • Z. Ahmed (Gonville & Caius – Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology)
  • A. Quarry (Sidney Sussex – Natural Sciences)
  • N. Redman OMT (History)

We warmly congratulate them on their success. We must also offer enormous congratulations to all our Upper Sixth students who are starting to receive offers for a vast range of exciting opportunities at a wide range of institutions. The university application process is a very stressful one for all young people and it is wonderful to see their hard work rewarded, setting them on a tangible path to their life beyond Merchant Taylors’ School.
