10 pupils get offers from prestigious Universities
Ten pupils have received offers from Oxford and Cambridge this year – an excellent achievement, given the increasingly
competitive and rigorous application process. Numbers applying have increased hugely in recent years, with Oxford
stating that applications have increased by 22% in the last five years. These pupils all had probing academic interviews
in December, and most had done written exams before that in their chosen subject.
We congratulate these Upper Sixth Formers and are delighted with the range of subjects that has enjoyed this success (Chemistry, Computing, English, Geography, Human, Social & Political Sciences (HSPS), Law, Medicine, Natural Sciences.
